The 2006 season sees us just 10 years old, not bad in times that have been less than friendly in a very competitive market.

Our aim is and has always been to bring comfort and style to the trade with true value for money price levels. We have achieved that in the past nine years and we are still searching to find new methods and better product quality to improve our standards even further.

We base our style of shoe in the true ‘Moccasin’ construction where the foot is cuckooned in an envelope of quality leather. This type of construction allows the shoe to mould to the shape of your particular foot shape as you walk and wear the shoe, it’s the main reason just why moccasins are so very comfortable all day long. Its also an extremely flexible shoe which can bend completely half, giving unrivalled ability to flex and bend without restriction.

We use only prime full grain leathers, many of which are wax treated and tanned to stand up to rigours of salt water and tough wearing conditions whether your on deck sailing or tramping around on land. Our shoes are also available in a range of soft but tough and durable nubuck, which are easy to clean and keep looking good. We use only leather in-socks that are cushioned and 2 of our styles have leather linings. We cushion the main contact areas, like the tongue, heel plant and ankle topline so that you have maximum comfort and a feel good factor about your feet.

All our out-soles are tried and tested for good grip in all weathers, sure footedness on all surfaces and solid durability in wear quality. Most of our soles have cushioned forefoot and heel plant areas to make the walk as soft, safe and comfortable as possible. We have for 2006 introduced a high performance sole to a new model that is not cushioned. Why? For performance deckwear you need to feel and ‘sense’ what is happening to the surface below you, the new sole is kind of like a second skin to give that feel…

We also supply an extra pair of our matching laces and a spare pare of Cambrelle lined cushion footbeds (should you need extra comfort or to revive the in-soles) in every box of shoes that require them. Free of charge of course !
